Just as their second child, Kailene turned 1 in the blink of an eye, their parents Jen + Alvin, and big brother Jayden celebrated Kailene’s first birthday with a fun Hawaiian theme!  To capture these moments for this growing family, we went to the same park in Foster City that our friends Curtis + Mai took Jayden’s 1st birthday photos!

Kailene may have been a little sleepy since Mommy + Daddy woke her up pretty early at 6 am to get ready for her big photoshoot.  We started the morning with their family session, had fun playing in the playground with her big brother Jayden, and then went to the beach to take a few portraits.  Kailene wasn’t too happy, but at least we captured the emotional tears and growing pains all babies go through turning into a toddler!
