Vickie and Johnny are two of the sweetest people, ever (and quite the funny couple)!  I was so thankful to be introduced to the two of them by one of my couples last year, Jessica + Anthony (thank you!), AND also by Vickie’s sister, Virginia!  (Thanks Vee!).  After meeting and getting to know the two of them on more than one occasion, I learned that these two love animals, adventures, and traveling.  In fact, I think they’re both currently traveling right now in Asia!  They met in high school, and definitely kept in touch since.  When they celebrated their 6 1/2 year anniversary at Disneyworld, they both went scuba diving under the sea, and Johnny popped the question!   (what a unique proposal!)  Of course she said yes!

On the day of their engagement session, we went to the zoo to share their love for animals, and then to Golden Gate Park’s Chinese Pavilion, and then ended at the beach, all locations that reflect their personalities and their wedding theme – celebrating under the sea!

I’m sure if you know both Vickie + Johnny, you can agree with me that these two are amazing people, and are loved by many.  I had so much fun with them on the day of their engagement session, and I’m so excited for their wedding just a few months away!

Oh yes!! I forgot to mention, I photographed Vickie + Johnny’s engagement session on Vickie’s birthday!  So, Johnny got her a few balloons and I snapped a few extra photos for her to remember her big day 😀 Happy Birthday!!!  We ended the day at Kufuya, a really delicious unlimited shabu shabu/hot pot restaurant off of Geary  (something that I’m totally craving for right now in this cold weather!), and I got to meet her new niece, baby Leah!  So precious!  xo
