Turning one is a huge milestone. You may have taken your first steps, said your first words, smiled, laughed, and cried a gazillion times. Your personality begin developing, and curiosity is at its peak for almost, anything. Your favorite toy may be a stuffed animal, your blank, or in this case, Elliott’s super huge red car and small mini little police car that sang and made police “wee oh wee oh” siren noises.
Mary, Dan, and Elliott were referred by one of my dear friends and past coworkers, Jackie – from Stella’s Cake Smash! We went out for a family session first thing in the morning in San Jose, CA, and then went back to their home to celebrate Elliott’s biggest milestone – turning one!! Mary designed an adorable chalkboard with his one year old stats, and also made really cute blue and silver garland out of fabrics, paring really well with their living room and Elliott’s blue ombre cake!
Come and take a look at Elliott’s cake smash! Unexpectedly, he wanted to play with his car and eat snacks more so than annihilate a cake. So mom and dad had to jump in and try to save the day!!! It was still fun and exciting, nevertheless, as I learned all of Elliott’s police car’s songs, and sang and danced with mom and dad, too!!
Happy Birthday, Elliott!!! Thank you Mary and Dan!
xoxo ❤, mn
