Nine and a half years ago, Freddy and Lucy met on a blind date at Starbucks.  When they began dating shortly after, they became one of the most sweetest, and beautiful couples.  Somewhere inbetween, Freddy left on a business trip to Australia, and realized he couldn’t live without being with Lucy.  He missed her so much that he realized he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

Saturday, July 11th, 2015 was the day!  Everyone got up, and it was a very relaxed morning.  While Lucy and her family was getting their hair and makeup done with Nora Artistry, and her beautiful dress was already displayed and hanging on a mannequin.  Freddy was slowly getting ready while his mother and sister were getting their makeup done in the living room.  Gifts were exchanged and tears were shed from their most touching letters to one another.  Freddy, being traditional, didn’t want to see Lucy before the ceremony, so they had their “first touch” before heading to St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in San Mateo, CA.

Their Ceremony was nice and intimate, and had their closest friends and family.

We stayed nearby and took our portraits in Burlingame, CA.  Since it was just the two of them, Lucy and Freddy, for bride & groom portraits, my second shooter Michelle & I had such a great time with the two of them.  Lucy and Freddy were smiling with joy, and it was so easy taking photos of them after I photographed their engagement session!  You could really see how in love they are, after 9 years.

Their reception was at the Bayview Dining Room at the College of San Mateo.  Their colors were gold and teal, with wine, custom salsa for every table, and with white floral centerpieces and white candlelit lanterns in the center.  Behind their head table were beautiful hanging glass candle holders along with hanging crystals and rhinestones.  Their cake was topped with the sweet lyrics, “all of me loves all of you,” from John Legend’s song “All of me”.  Surrounding the cake were mini Nothing Bundt Cakes of all different flavors for all their guests!  And as for entertainment, they had a Mariachi Band serenading the guests while everyone settled in after cocktail hour.  With tearjerking speeches from their most loved ones, fun games, a money dance, sunset portraits, the rest of the night went and ended on the dance floor.

Congratulations Lucy + Freddy, may you have joy and happiness “to infinity and beyond”.  Thank you so much for having me and my amazing 2nd shooter, Michelle capture your day.  I’m so blessed to be a part of your amazing journey – even from the very beginning, 9 years ago, and knowing you Freddy, for 11 years.  Capturing your wedding melted my heart and I couldn’t ask for anything more wholesome than that.  Love you two, JovelPartyof2!!!  Congratulations, wishing you both an amazing new journey!!!
