Twenty THIRTEEN!!  I can’t believe another year has passed by so quickly!

Thank you so much to all my clients, fans, supporters, friends, family, and everyone else who has continued along with my photography career, journey, and life.  It’s almost four years (in total), and two and a half being a full time photographer.  I’m so grateful to have met every single one of you who have enriched me with your stories and let me share yours with the rest of the world.  My photography career would not be here without YOU, so thank you!!

Twenty thirteen was another amazing year filled with even more growth, learning experiences, and meeting many more wonderful people like YOU!  Photography has traveled me to many places this year, to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Cozumel Mexico, LA and back many more times, New York, and Houston.  I captured thirteen weddings, many MANY portrait sessions including engagements, family and maternity, and worked on a few nail and beauty shoots with Shear Fashion Salon which were featured in NAILS magazine.  I helped an inspirational photographer, Matthew Jordan Smith with a Sony Event held in the Penthouse Suite at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco.  With ambition to learn more about the beauty industry, I attended IMATS (International Make-Up Artist Trade Show) in Los Angeles CA and ISSE (International Salon and Spa Expo) in Long Beach, CA.  I showcased my photography at the Great Bridal Expo at the San Jose Fairmont Hotel and met many many beautiful brides.   I also helped photograph for the Modern Bridal Fashion Show at the Ritz Carlton, in San Francisco CA.  I helped my photography mentor, Scott Robert Lim coordinate one of his  photography workshops, and we went to Key West FL, and Cozumel Mexico!  Soon after, wedding Season came into full gear, Shear Fashion Salon and Michelle Nicole Photography were nominated top 10 in an international nails competition, but unfortunately, didn’t get it, but THANK YOU for those who voted and supported us!!!  In between was filled with wonderful portraits for Families, Anniversaries, Maternity, and even babies!  Closer to the latter half of the year as wedding season began to slow down, Picture Perfect Events by Kelley Lee Gin and I began our journey on a dessert tour, which will begin featuring in January 2014; we will begin taking you on a Dessert Tour all across Los Angeles (#desserttourLA), San Francisco, and… soon to come, New York!

Also, not to mention, this year was an amazing year for the wonderful friendships I have made with my clients and colleagues.  Thank you.

Over the course of 2014, I am continuing with weddings, engagements, portraits, and I am still continuing to expand to more metropolitan cities.  My goal is to meet and work with at least two wonderful couples who would love to hire me for their destination wedding (special MNP pricing will be negotiated for the first two destination bookings for 2014)!  Among the personal projects, Shear Fashion Salon and Michelle Nicole Photography will be continuing with our beauty shoots; we have A LOT in store!  I also would LOVE to do more personal beauty projects (which is something I wanted to do this past year, but became super busy with wedding season).  My travels so far will be to Los Angeles to continue our #desserttourLA with Picture Perfect Events, as well as to Houston TX to venture the market there!  I’m excited to continue growing, and the rest to come in 2014 is all up to you!

Thank you again, past, present, and future clients, friends, and family for making this year incredible!  You are all amazing, and I’m looking forward to many more years to come.
