two words.  hopeless romantic.

Lily and Sonny met through mutual friends, and when they began dating, they always had a huge smile on each others faces before seeing each other.  Sonny, a Marine Veteran, continues to work overseas and comes home any chance he can get.  At the time of their two year anniversary, they traveled to Minnesota where Sonny’s family lives.  He took her out for a nice dinner to celebrate their two year anniversary – with a complimentary dessert and champagne, Sonny got down on one knee and proposed to Lily – she said yes!

For most of their engagement, Lily put together the wedding all by herself while Sonny was away in Kuwait.  She is definitely your “DIY” bride and put her dream wedding to life.  From her bouquets, centerpieces, flower girls’ dresses, signage, the head table with pipe and drape… and the list can go on!

She says “he’s really romantic, and he does things for her because he wants to.”

When the big day came, family and friends were there to celebrate.  The day was jam packed, filled with so many beautiful emotions, laughter, joy, and happy tears.  As they said their own vows, their fathers battled it out on the dance floor, and everyone enjoyed Lily + Sonny’s own signature cocktails, Bride’s “Sealed with a Kiss”, and Groom’s “Perfect Beginning”.  As their guests danced the night away, they ended their wedding with a great honeymoon to Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Macau.
