Congratulations Kitty + Derek!  A wonderfully filled day surrounded by their closest family and friends, Kitty + Derek had a beautiful day.  

Kitty and Derek both knew each other when they went to High School at George Washington High in San Francisco, CA, and have been friends and started dating in college.  They also lived just about a block away from each other.  Being that they only lived about a block away from each other, convenience must have been nice for the two of them being only walking distance away from one another!

Being that their homes are conveniently walking distance away from each other, Derek, his groomsmen, and cousins all marched over to Kitty’s home and presented red envelopes to enter in the house.  Following a few chinese traditions, Derek and his groomsmen had to play a few games and do a few dances – dancing to Gangnam Style, drinking unknown liquids, doing yoga poses, spelling out “I Love U” from scrabble pieces, and signing a contract  to confess Kitty’s love.  Shortly after, followed a Tea Ceremony at both of their homes, serving tea to their parents, grandparents, and other aunties and uncles.

Heading over to the church of St. Thomas Apostle Catholic Church, Kitty + Derek intimately tied the knot with their closest family and friends.

After tying the knot, we rested for a little bit back at Kitty’s home and took a few photos.  We then headed to Foster City where we took a few portraits at Leo J Ryan Park, and then headed to ABC Seafood for their Reception.  Kitty and Derek are big crab fans and so they shared their love for crabs by giving their guests personalized mallets.  With signature drinks, lots of clanking of the glasses to get the couple, AND others to kiss, fun games, this couple ended their evening in smiles.
