On the 4th of July, we hosted a BBQ and had an unexpected visitor come into our home! Daisy (a male pig), joined us for some tri tip, salad, jello, and many more delicious food. Daisy’s mommy, Tiffany, was out of town at the time, so he was left to her wonderful cousin, Jaz. That, started a new and wonderful relationship with Daisy, the San Francisco Pig.
Early in September, I reconnected with Daisy (or her mommy, Tiffany), and we decided to get together and capture Daisy for her family room wall. From all the work you’ve probably seen on my blog, I normally shoot people. This was one of the small handfuls I’ve captured animals, let alone a pig, Daisy!
Daisy has definitely doubled in size since the last we saw him, and luckily he has reached his full adult size. On the regular weekday, Daisy walks to work with Tiffany and hangs out and grazes in the office as Tiffany works. For snacks, Daisy eats quaker oat cakes. Also, Daisy is pretty smart – other than walking around the house oinking, he goes potty on pee pads. Rarely he’ll have an accident on the floor. For those who are looking or curious, Daisy came from Waller Texas, from a little farm called Petite Porkers. Enjoy!
