Bittersweet and onto the next chapter… Part 3

At the beginning of the month, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life – to leave my job at Advent and pursue photography full time.

Two Fridays ago, we celebrated my departure and new journey.

Last Friday was my last day – we celebrated with the Moxy Team and it was bittersweet.  Today marks week one of my new journey and pursuing one of my biggest passions in my life.

Upon my departure from Advent, many coworkers, friends, and family have told me how proud they are to see me reach for my dreams.  Some shared with me what their dreams are (some want to be a Pastry Chef, Play Basketball, Sing/Rap).  Sharing their support shows me how grateful I am to have an opportunity to reach towards my dream and someday achieve excellence all around the world.

Moxy Ninjas and craziness all around

I know this is going to be a really rough journey, but I have faith this is going to be the best decision I’ve made in my life.

The biggest mistake people make in life is not trying to make a living at doing what they most enjoy.  – Malcom Forbes
