My cousin, Norman, has always kept me up to date with his awesome relationship with Char.  They met when Norm was attending school at Cal State LA, and she just finished Riverside and worked in the lab at USC.  Char then left for med school, where they both weathered through a long distance relationship.  Years later and realizing they both could manage their long distance relationship, Norm started to ring shop, and when I found out he was ready to tie the knot, I was ecstatic!  I wrote about them getting engaged here on 10-10-10, and I was extremely honored of them asking me to do their engagement session!

So, tada!  Here they are!  The gorgeous superstars!  My awesome MUA, Jennifer Toy (JT Artistry) came over and did Char’s makeup as I did her hair.  We then left for San Francisco.  We first went to the Legion of Honor where Norm proposed to Char, but a workshop was happening and wasn’t leaving for another hour, so we decided to leave.  It was super windy too, and the curls and lashes couldn’t fight the wind!!!  So we headed to Char’s brother’s home, Jon, where we freshened up and Jon came to join and help us out (and drove us around – thanks Jon!).  We then went to the Ferry Building, where we grabbed some yummy ice cream, headed to the Finance District, went downtown to Union Square, and then to Treasure Island to end the evening.  So cheers to Norm and Char, you guys were fabulous!!  I’m so happy to have captured something so special to you both, and I’m happy to soon have another cousin!!!
